Don't Rush God's Masterpiece

This gorgeous piece you’re looking at is a fine art print. The original painting is called “The Way." It's inspired by John 14:6: “Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.' " I thought about how Jesus is kind of like the key that unlocks the door to heaven. I then created a scene of the crucifix with a key instead of the cross. The key still represents the cross, as the viewer can see in the key’s shadow. The key is bleeding where Jesus would be nailed to the cross. The blood then flows down into the hearts of worshippers below.
